Our Written Procedures for In Store Activity – Covid 19
Dear TerraGamers and Friends, We are dedicated to bringing you a fun and, more importantly, safe place to buy, enjoy, and play games. In accordance with the guidelines put forth by the Washington Governors Office we would like to share with you our Written Procedures for In Store Activity. We are happy to announce that starting Friday we will resume limited store play. Table space is free as normal, and first come first serve; please call ahead to ensure we have space (253-203-1647). TerraCrux Games Written Procedures for In-Store Retail Operations: A site-specific COVID-19 Supervisor shall be designated by the employer to monitor the health of employees and enforce this COVID-19 job site safety plan. 1. We have contactless pay options; including our online store and curbside pickup. 2. Customer Traffic Management. Our max occupancy is 50 persons; this is under 30% capacity as determined by the fire code. We have placed distance markers outside of the facility in order to maintain six-foot physical distancing for customers waiting to receive curb side service or enter the building. We have added arrows marking to help eliminate choke points and reduce crowding. High traffic areas are marked with six-foot indicators to maintain physical distancing requirements. We have placed signage at entrances and throughout the store reminding staff and customers of the occupancy limit, to maintain six-foot physical distancing, and the policy requiring face coverings. We have placed distance markers in check-out lines in order to maintain six-foot physical distancing requirements for customers waiting to check out. When possible, we will accommodate hours of operation that permit access solely to high-risk individuals as defined by the CDC. 3. Sanitation We will be frequently sanitizing high-touch surfaces including between matches. We will ensure operating hours allow downtime between shifts for thorough cleaning. Hand sanitizer is available at entry for all staff and patrons (assuming supply availability). Establish a housekeeping schedule that includes frequent cleaning and sanitizing with a particular emphasis on commonly touched surfaces. 4. Seating Requirements All parties and tables must be 5 guests or less. Tables must be placed far enough apart when measured from occupied chair to occupied chair, to ensure event guests seated at a table are a minimum of 6 feet away from guests at adjacent table. Play areas are restricted to those participating in games. We look forward to see you all soon, and keep on gaming!
Phase Two Announcement
Attention TerraGamers and Friends, Pierce County has moved into phase two of the phased reopening plan for Washington State. This means that while we cannot have in store play you can now come in to shop. Face masks are required for all employees and guests. If you do not have a mask one can be provided to you at no charge. We will still be offering curb side service upon request for online purchases. Keep on Gaming and see you soon!
June Store Update
The weather is nice this first day of June and we hope you are all healthy and safe. Here is a quick update from us at TerraCrux Games; As many of you know the stay at home order has officially ended but there is still some confusion regarding when reopening can occur. To be safe, until further notice we will continue to operate as we have for the last few months; No customers in the store. Online sales only for curbside and delivery. Pierce Country has applied to move to phase two, when this occurs we will be able to have a limited number of customers in the store. Masks will be required for all employees and guests. Memorial Day Update
We hope you are staying safe this Memorial day and we are looking forward to the day when we can see you again soon. Due to the pandemic, we feel it is more important than ever to recognize and remember our service men and women who have given their own health and lives to protect our own. In continuing efforts to limit the danger both to veterans, our active service members, and the general public we are continuing to cooperate with the phased reopening of Washington state. In store operations are expected to resume in early June while events will likely not return for some time after that with social distancing measures in place. We will be continuing curbside pickup for all orders placed via our online store. (Except Memorial Day) In games and product news, we are excited to announce the upcoming release of Warhammer 40k: 9th Edition. Expect lots of new information as it becomes available. In Store Update: Ikoria and Games Workshop products available soon!
The weather is really nice out and we hope you are enjoying it safely! We are hard at work making sure that when we can open we will open strong. In the interim period, we will do our best to make sure you have the game products you need to stay happy and sane during the lock down. We do not expect to return to normal operations until at least June. In store events will likely not return for some time after that. For this reason we will be continuing curbside pickup for all orders placed via our online store until further notice. Distribution of products is beginning to open back up so new items are coming in soon from Games Workshop. We should be getting new product in this week so look for that! We have a correction and additional information on how the Magic the Gathering Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths release event will be handled. First, it is going to be on Friday MAY 15th, not June! We apologize for the mistake. Unfortunately we cannot hold events in store so all prerelease kits will come with two additional packs from us (as if you played the event). Product will be available Friday May 15th via curbside pickup. Doug will be in store handling curbside from 3PM to 8PM on Friday and 5PM to 8PM on Saturday and Sunday. There will be social distancing appropriate zones demarcated in front of the store for patrons while they wait. Please abide by them so everyone can stay safe. In cooperation with these efforts we will be canceling all events and closing our table space and gaming areas until further notice. I assure you we are still open.
